Ryan’s work as a coach and counsellor centres around his lived experience both as a parent to two neurodivergent kids and as someone who has left a fundamentalist religious tradition.

Ryan takes an intersectional and anti-oppressive approach, which means that he considers and respects the many facets of his clients’ identities in their work together. This includes but is not limited to race, culture, gender, neurotype, sexual orientation, age, and religious background.

Ryan (he/him) holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies (University of British Columbia) and is currently working on an M.A. in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University).
